Hike Above the Clouds
I love autumn. This time of year when the massifs are adorned with a multicoloured dress creating a visual harmony between the observer and the landscape. Autumn is also the time when what is called “temperature inversion” begins. When this happens, a cloud layer is established between the valley and the mountains, offering magnificent views of the mountains. The photos below were taken during a hike at Pointe de Rovagne, in the resort of Sommand Praz-de-Lys, in Haute-Savoie.
